Lazy Sundays
I was up until 6 am this morning, in all my geekness writing HTML and messing around with CSS. For those of you who dont have a clue what i’m blabbering on about, i’ve been re-designing my portfolio and updating some websites. I started getting interested in the web way back in the good old days of 1999 (seems so long ago now) when i bagged a top job for a new internet startup in Amsterdam. to be honest for the first time i was learning about this thing called the internet.
Well they wanted me to re develop the internal website - which fortunately back then was nothin more that some images and a bit of text. I really wanted to work for the company (chello boradband) that i agreed that i was capable for the job and damn was i good - even surprised myself ! sweet.
… so that’s where it started, straight home and got my head around the very mind boggling subject of HTML. Since then i have been developing sites for people which can be found int the "Design" section, some have been developed in the early days using a WYSIWYG program Webpage Maker (an absolute must for novice designers) then to Adobe’s Dreamweaver and now to some Raw HTML and CSS (thanks to my buddy Ingiberg "ingi"). We now run a company called Innocent Interactive for 3d and online marketing and Naked Flames for web design. Pop over there sometime. I must admit though designing and SEO are my favourite bit.
